LUCKY Evesham youth, Jon Wells, was crowned 'Prom King' during a fabulous evening held at Alcester Grammar School.
The end of year 'Prom' was the result of a competition run by Bliss magazine to 'win a Prom for your school.'
Jon's girlfriend Caroline Appleby, a 16-year-old pupil in year 11, won the competition, which involved £25,000 being spent on a spectacular evening.
Caroline and Jon arrived at the event in a stretch limousine, where they followed a red carpet into the school hall.
The room had been transformed and was bedecked with overhead drapes, a bar, stools and tables.
Celebrity guests at the event included Abs, a former member of the boyband, Five, and new boyband Triple Eight. Other attractions included a chocolate fountain, surf simulator, professional break-dancers and non-alcoholic cocktails served by corset-clad waitresses.
Jon said: "It was a great night and I was pleased that I was made Prom King. I really enjoyed it."
Caroline was the first winner of the competition, which will now become an annual event.
