TAG rugby players from district first schools took time out from their day to devote a whole afternoon to promote the sport.
Five teams made up from Meadows First School, Wychbold First and Redditch's Marlfield Farm competed at Meadows First, in Stourbridge Road, last Friday.
Each side played each other once before Meadows' A and B sides contested the final with the A side victorious.
The day was set aside by Meadows to bring pupils together for fun but also to try tag rugby, a sport rapidly growing in schools.
A spokesperson said the day was successful and the school hoped to host a similar event again.
A trophy was presented to the winners and competitors received certificates.
