A WOMAN who suffered a history of mental ill health died after overdosing on a lethal cocktail of drugs, an inquest heard.
Worcestershire coroner Victor Round said he had no choice but to conclude Victoria Hart of Shakespeare Drive, Kidderminster, had taken her own life after a post mortem revealed she had overdosed on co-proxamol, diazepam and temazepam.
Mr Round said 30-year-old Miss Hart, who lived with her mother, had suffered from depression and a variety of eating disorders for 15 years.
He added the unemployed woman, who also suffered from osteoporosis and self-harm, "had previously expressed a desire to kill herself".
He said her parents' daily routine comprised of taking it in turns to sit and talk to her in her bedroom.
Her mother, Teresa Hart, said she was talking to her daughter 20 minutes before she died, but left her to speak to her husband on the phone.
She added she called an ambulance after finding her "mumbling" with blue lips. "I did find her alive and I was actually there when she took her last breath," she said.
Mr Round concluded Miss Hart, who was pronounced dead at the scene by the ambulance crew, died in the last minutes of June 17.
"I think I have to come to the conclusion that she took her own life from that mixed set of drugs," he said.
Miss Hart's father, Peter, added: "I would just like to say a big thank you to the police who were very kind on the night. It did help the situation."
