EVESHAM Archers have kept the town's name alive at high-profile tournaments around the country.
Redhill Archers 30th open American attracted more than 90 archers, including some of the Great Britain team.
Lisa Illingworth fought hard in the ladies recurve, leading at various times, she finished second just six points behind the winner with a score of 752 out of 810.
Ian Trout finished top limited compound archer. Peter Williams shot steadily to finish seventh and take the second class medal.
Bromyard Archers' third Fita 900 is a new round for many British archers.
With a total score of 900 shot at 60, 50 and 40 metres, Evesham archers produced good results. Malcolm Porter had a good shoot with a score of 755 to finish second by just one point.
Illingworth on top form again took the second place medal after a close fight with Linda Haines, who finished finishing a close third. Trout again finished top limited compound.
Porter, Haines and Barbara Stanway took part in the County of Lancashire world record status Fita Star. Fita Star tournaments attract top archers chasing points for GB team duty. Ladies shoot 12 dozen arrows at 70, 60, 50 and 30 metres.
Haines and Stanway on top form finished a magnificent third and fifth with Stanway also collecting a trophy for best 70 metres score.
With more than 40 gents shooting 90, 70, 50 and 30 metres, competition was going to be tough as many eligible GB team archers took part. Porter, needing to be on top form, made a slow start but finished strongly to finish 11th and top County of Worcester archer.
