THE Evesham & District League is staging a special charity crib drive next Mon-day evening.
Money raised will be donated to the League of Friends of Evesham Community Hospital in memory of Iris Davis.
Iris, who died in May, was the captain of the Hospital Club C team. She was a competitive player, always ready for a laugh with her opponents, while alw-ays supporting the league in its many activities.
Her friends at the hospital and the league's committee are hoping as many people as possible will help raise the roof and come to the Hospital Social Club.
The action is set to start at 8pm. £3 per pair will guarantee entry on a night when prizes for the raffle will also be appreciated.
There will be a prize for the winners at the end of a night that is open to all.
