ORGANISERS of the Malvern Autumn Garden and Country Show have outlined details of this year's event.
The show is one of the four main Three Counties Agricultural Society events of the year and will be held at the Malvern showground on September 27-28.
The society says that advance bookings have been coming in from around the country since the beginning of the year. It is confident of breaking last year's record visitor numbers of 48,000.
The event celebrates British country life and produce and among the attractions will be the Royal Horticultural Society flower show.
There will be a total of 5,000 square metres of flowers from around the world, six permanent gardens on site, floral art and the Midlands Vegetable Society Championships.
There will also be an amateur open gardening competitions.
A cookery theatre is also planned and there will be a return visit by the UK Wolf Conservation Trust.
The organisers of the CSJ Novice Agility Competition for dogs have chosen to stage the final in Malvern, on the Saturday. Other highlights include heavy horses, gundogs, falcons, vintage vehicles, mountain bike stuntman Jez Avery and shepherdess Elaine Hill.
