MALVERN'S Holy Trinity Church is hosting a service to celebrate the installation of its new lighting.
The Worcester Road church has been rewired and improved lighting has been installed throughout the building. The service on Sunday will carry the theme of light through prayers and hymns.
The new lights can be dimmed to create what the vicar Rev Richard Rosoman, described as a "special atmosphere".
Rev Rosoman said it was the second major scheme at Holy Trinity within the past year, after the installation of a toilet and servery.
"This is a great achievement, and testimony to the generosity of so many people at Holy Trinity. We have raised a substantial amount towards the lighting, but we are still able to accept further gifts to cover the full cost."
