A HIGH-tech map is being drawn up to reveal hotspots of anti-social behaviour in and around Malvern.
Malvern Hills District Council has bought in a new computer database which will pinpoint problem areas and help police to concentrate their efforts.
The system, called ReAct, will also enable them to spot new trends in antisocial behaviour and take action.
"This is an exciting system which will help us to nip behavioural problems in the bud before they become serious social problems, and to make everyone's lives safer and more enjoyable," said MHDC leader Coun Tom Wells.
"It will give us a better reflection of the nature of antisocial behaviour taking place in the area and, once we know that, we can start doing something positive ."
The data which is recorded by ReAct includes reports of vandalism, harassment, littering, noise, intimidation, drug use, domestic and neighbour disputes, abuse, drunkenness and burglary.
Complaints can come from members of the public, council staff and members, housing associations and even BT, for vandalised phone boxes.
The system analyses data fed into it and produces a constantly-updated map of trouble spots throughout the district.
