A CHASE pupil will be cooking with a TV chef at the Heart of England Food Festival in Worcester Cathedral this weekend.
Claire Howell, 17, will help chef Tony Tobin, who has appeared on Ready, Steady, Cook, to cook the winning dish she created for a cookery competition.
Eighty children from five schools competed in the competition to create a signature Worcestershire dish, using as much local produce as possible and taking into account the cost and nutritional value.
Claire won the Young Chef award with her sausages and rosemary with potato wedges.
Steve Ricketts, economic development officer at Worcestershire County Council said: "We were very impressed with the standard of entry and the hard work the children had put into this project."
The winners will be presented with £100 book vouchers for their schools at the event.
