SIXTH-former Sarah Series has hit a winning streak with a device she designed to help the hard-of-hearing.
Sarah was one of four Chase students entered in the Audi Design Foundation's Young Designer of the Year competition earlier in the year.
She won third prize and £50 with her incoming telephone alert system, which helps the hearing-impaired notice when a call comes in.
She also entered the Young Electronics Design Applications competition and was joint winner for the best school entering the competition for the first time. The £1,000 prize money was then split between the two winners and then split again between student and school.
