GLENN Crowther is hoping to fire his way to glory at the World Police and Fire Games.
The 49-year-old from Worcester is competing in the clay pigeon shooting at the games in Barcelona, which start tomorrow.
And he is confident of matching his medal tally from the last games in Indianapolis two years ago, when he won three golds, two silvers and three bronzes and set three Games records.
Glenn, who is a senior prison officer at Long Lartin jail, near Evesham, said: "It will be nice to think I can match that again, but it is going to be tough competition."
He will be competing in both individual and team events from Tuesday onwards.
Glenn, who has been shooting for 20 years, is a committee member of the Hereford and Worcester Clay Pigeon Shooting Association and is also chairman of the Prison Service CPSA.
