HEREFORD'S David Park will no doubt make sure to exchange scorecards today after being paired with Mark Roe in the third round of the Nissan Irish Open at Portmarnock.
Roe and Jesper Parnevik hit the headlines in last week's Open at Royal St George's when both were disqualified after forgetting to swap scorecards.
Park carded a second round level par 72 yesterday to add to a first round 71 and was due to tee off with Roe at 9.47 this morning.
Droitwich's John Bickerton also made the cut after a second round 72 left him one under for the tournament and he was due out at 10.14 with Jean Hugo.
England's David Lynn fired a best-of-the-day 65 to glide effortlessly to the head of the leaderboard.
On a day of mixed fortunes for the Irish - Peter Lawrie climbed into third place, Paul McGinley played his way back into contention with a 66 while Padraig Harrington missed the cut -
Lynn's seven under par score hoisted him into the lead on 134, ten under par, one ahead of New Zealand's Michael Campbell.
It was a superb effort by Lynn who, at 29 and a professional for six years, still awaits his first victory on The European Tour. He has been runner-up twice.
