SPORTING giants across the country are backing Worcester toddler Amy Lambert in her bid to raise funds for the hospital which saved her life.
The brave three-year-old, with parents Darren and Laura, aims to hold a series of auctions for Birmingham's Diana, Princess of Wales Children's Hospital.
Football teams, including Aston Villa, Newcastle, Liverpool and Everton and Worcestershire County Cricket Club have all chipped in with sporting memorabilia to help the appeal.
Dubbed "Amazing Amy"' by medics, the three-year-old of Green Lane, Rainbow Hill, spent five months in the hospital after being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
Impossible
She spent nine weeks in the intensive care unit for a severe blood infection and also fought off pneumonia, which made it impossible to breathe on her own.
The auction, which will take place at the Peak Truck Show at Uttoxeter Racecourse on Saturday, August 16, is her next fund-raising event to help other sick children at the hospital's paediatric intensive care unit.
Sir Bobby Robson and Alan Shearer have both signed a framed photo of St James's Park, while Aston Villa have donated an autographed shirt.
A family ticket to tour Liverpool's museum and ground and a signed Everton football are just some of the sporting goodies on offer.
A donation to Amy's hospital fund can be made by calling David Shepherd at the hospital on 0121 333 8506.
For any pre-auction telephone bids contact organiser Sarah McGregor on 01298 872040.
