ROSS Golf Club team hit a low when they played the Worcestershire Seniors at Malvern.
The whole team came crashing down the Earth with a bump by losing 1-7.
It was only a splendid 6-4 win by Pat Curtis and partner Vernon Thompson that saved seniors captain Tom Moore what would have been the first whitewash of an otherwise successful season.
The rest of the Ross golfers found it tough going and kept what enjoyment there was for Malvern's new clubhouse.
