BARNARDS Green Singles regained the winning habit with a comprehensive four-wicket victory over Worcester Corinthians.
Corinthians elected to bat with Brookes and Brown soon maintaining a tidy line and length.
But once the shine had gone off the ball, it was to be an afternoon of toil in the field for the Green.
Turner and Kadoos started to up the run rate until a brilliant piece of fielding by Green Singles skipper Freeman saw him execute a direct hit on the stumps to claim Kadoos.
But Turner soon found an ally in Hill and the pair built a platform for their side on a wicket that favoured the batsmen.
Turner nudged past 50 in the 33rd over whilst Hill started to find the boundaries as Corinthians, searching for 250 off ten overs, pushed on.
But Spencer (1-59) had Hill well caught and the return of Brown put paid to any hopes Corinthians had of a formidable total.
His second, three-wicket spell saw Corinthians falter although Turner continued his marathon knock as he made unbeaten 95.
Still, the Green were more than happy with a victory target of 219 with Freeman and Yorke quick to seize on anything, the scoreboard raced along at seven an over until Freeman (22) dragged one onto to his own stumps.
Metcalfe (16) was soon out with White (15) following suit but thanks to Yorke the score reached 160 when the fourth wicket fell.
Tolley then joined Yorke and he soon got into his stride with a series of legside and off drive drives that had the Corinthian fielders wilting. Yorke perished to Furas for a fine 88 with his side almost home.
Brookes (13no) and Tolley continued to find the fence and with the scores level Tolley fell for 27. This brought Sam Spencer to the wicket and the youngster proceeded to play shot of the day when whipping the ball off his pads to the mid wicket boundary to leave Barnards Green victorious by four wickets.
