EASTNOR Seconds played in what may prove to be one of the closest games this season against Pedmore.
EASTNOR II v PEDMORE II Eastnor got off to a great start with Matt Phillips claiming three wickets. Steve Large brought himself into the attack and bowled his best spell this season, claiming four for 14.
Tom Hurrell also bowled well, and Eastnor skittled Pedmore out for just 73.
After the early loss of Dave Jones for a duck, Pat Locke (31) and Simon Astbury (20) took the score on and Eastnor looked to have a comfortable victory in sight.
However, with just 19 runs needed, Eastnor lost six wickets for just 10 runs and the game.
With Roy Phillips being caught out, it left Eastnor tied level on 73 with one wicket remaining.
Adi Bradley went out to bat and hit a powerful shot for four to give Eastnor more points.
