BARNARDS Green Sunday Casuals travelled to Abberley for a friendly encounter but lost out by 61 runs.
Abberley won the toss and batted first and finished on 160 off their 40 overs.
With the track now deteriorating rapidly, chasing runs was never going to be easy. Father and son Barry and Richard Tuck opened and started positively taking the score to 26.
But, after both were out, the middle order suffered as Massey took four for 15.
The last wicket pair of Emily Price (8) and Rob Harker (11no) took the score to 99 before Emily was run out to give Abberley victory.
