COMPANIES in Worcestershire are being urged to find out more about The Queen's Awards for Enterprise.
The prestigious business accolades recognise remarkable achievements in the three categories of international trade, innovation and sustainable development.
Jacqui Smith, the Department of Transport Minister responsible for the regions, has issued an invitation to local businesses to find out about the different award categories.
A lunchtime seminar is due to take place in Birmingham, on Thursday, July 24, from 11.30am.
"Many firms in the West Midlands have already put in applications to receive an award," said Ms Smith.
"However, there can be no doubt that many more talented firms deserve credit for their achievements this year. They should apply for the recognition their hard work deserves."
