WITNESSES to a three-car collision in which a 64-year-old woman died at the weekend are being urged to come forward.
The collision happened at Newtown Cross, at the junction of the A417 with the A4103 Hereford to Worcester road at 6.40pm on Saturday.
The dead woman, who was a passenger in a green Toyota Corolla which was involved in the collision, was taken to Hereford County Hospital after the accident and died later that night from her chest injuries.
The driver of the Toyota was treated for a suspected broken arm and a cut to his head.
The Toyota Corolla was travelling on the A417 from Leominster towards Gloucester and a Ford Ka involved in the collision was travelling in the same direction.
A blue Vauxhall Frontera travelling on the A4103 towards Hereford was also involved in the accident.
The driver of the Frontera was unharmed and the passenger suffered a foot injury and was taken to Hereford County Hospital by ambulance, while the driver of the Ford Ka was also uninjured.
