POLICE are seeking information after an attempted burglary at a fishing tackle shop on Saturday, July 5.
One man and four youths were seen trying to enter Powells Fishing Tackles on Mount Pleasant at about 8pm but escaped towards the town centre as police arrived.
The man is described as white, in his late 30s and wearing blue jeans and a shirt.
Two of the youths were aged about 18 and the other two are believed to be under 16. All four are white. Three of the youths were wearing T-shirts, track-suit bottoms and trainers.
Police believe someone may have seen them acting suspiciously before the attempted break-in.
