THE young and young-at- heart of Redditch have been brought together in a ground-breaking video made after comments given through the council's 20:20 Vision Community Strategy.
The 'Teen-Ages' Intergenerational Video Project involved a group of older and younger people and explores what it is like being a teenager now and in years gone by.
The finished project was due to be premiered at an official launch event at Church Hill Community Centre today between 4.30-6.30pm.
The launch involves participants, council officers, local agencies and partners coming together to watch the video and discuss issues raised in it.
The project was set up and carried out following responses from young and older people in the town given through 20:20 Vision and a young people's 'visioning conference'.
The project was led by a steering group and made possible by joint funding support from the Government Office West Midlands Young People's Community Cohesion fund and Worcestershire County Council Social Services' Prevention Grant.
