SLOPPY defending and a series of dead-ball successes left Evesham United nursing a 4-2 friendly hangover on Tuesday night.
Marc Burrow gave the Robins an early lead from a corner but Hinckley levelled through Jamie Lenton and then went 2-1 ahead courtesy of Neil Cartwright's bullet free-kick.
Leon Doughty doubled the visiting side's advantage after the break before free-kicks at opposite ends of the field from Scott Voice and Wesley Joyce ended the scoring.
A couple of Midland Alliance clubs provide Mullen's men with their next warm-up action.
The Robins visit Oldbury United on Saturday (3pm) and then make the trip back up the M5 to face Willenhall on Tuesday (7.45pm).
Evesham's final friendly match is at Port Talbot on Saturday, August 9 when supporters are invited to book a place on the team coach for the trip into Wales.
