Children at Watt Close Modern School were to get lessons in printing with the recent installation of a printing machine. The machine cost £120, a substantial portion of which was donated by the parent-teacher association.
Major and Mrs Holt gave a new pair of oak doors to Tardebigge church as a thank-you for Major Holt's recovery from illness. They were positioned at the West End of the church and had been made by Pancheri and Hack of Bromsgrove. They replace the doors, which had been in use for the past 200 years.
The annual general meeting of the Rovers Supporters Club was held. It was decided the next instalment of the scheme to improve the ground should take place involving an expenditure of £245 16s 1d (£245.81) on materials. The work was to be carried out on a volunteer basis by the committee.
