THE pairing of James Batchelor (15) and Henry Burling (12) won the annual Moseley Foursomes Junior Open.
This is the first time that representatives from The Vale Golf and Country Club have won this prestigious event, which has been held over 36 holes at the Birmingham club for the past 18 years.
Twenty-two teams competed from 15 clubs across the West Midlands and the Vale duo who play off handicaps of 11 and 10 respectively won by a four-point margin with a total of 69 stableford points over the two rounds.

Midweek Medal: 1 G Phillips; 2 A Marcelot; 3 R Arnold.
Monthly Medal - Division Two: 1 E Andrews 72 (cb); 2 J Ashcroft; 3 A Klien.
Junior Medal: 1 A Formaniuk 70; 2 R Perry 72; 3 J Batchelor 74.
