Astwood Bank's cricketers head to Staffordshire this weekend hopeful of taking another step on their way to the final of the National Village Knockout Cup.
And skipper Alex Robinson is hoping that the travelling supporters will again cheer them to success and a place in the semi-finals.
"The support we have been given from the village has been quite phenomenal," he said. "It is hard to digest the fact that when you go into a pub people are talking about the cricket."
Draycott and Hanbury lie in wait for the Bank and Robinson has been doing his homework ahead of the quarter-final clash.
"They beat Exhall & Wixford in an earlier line and I have spoken to a few of their players to try and get an inside line," Robinson said."We have some information but all we can do is to concentrate on our game.
"We have struggled to bat and field well in the same game so if we do click then we should have a good chance."
Astwood Bank saw off Nottinghamshire side Plumtree by 11-runs in the previous round and victory on Sunday would leave them just one step away from a Lord's final.
Bowlers Jon Summers and Pete Alexander shared nine wickets between them in their Worcestershire League Division Two game with neighbours Alvechurch at the weekend, a result that saw them climb to second in the table.
Summers claimed 5-32 and Alexander 4-18 as the home side were dismissed for 133. But it was all to no avail as torrential rain finally ended Bank's hopes of victory with their reply at 34-2.
Vice captain Andy Clayton said other results meant the Sambourne Lane club now had a chance to secure the runners-up position.
"It is still there to go for but we need to put in some good performances," he said.
Lowly Cookley are the visitors on Saturday.
Elsewhere in the Worcestershire League, Stourport claimed a winning draw over Feckenham in Division Two. Feckenham reached 184-9 with the home side finishing on 110-2.
In Division Five, Hewell's 153-9 proved insufficient and home side Knighton claimed a winning draw thanks to their 93-1.
