SOAP star Kay Purcell is looking forward to her first "evil panto" role as the Wicked Queen in Palace Theatre production Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Well-known as Cynthia Daggert in Emmerdale, Kay has also starred in Coronation Street, Casualty, Children's Ward and Cracker.
She has also made a film with funnyman Johnny Vegas which is set to be released next year and is due to appear in Holby City in October.
The Paul Holman Associates production will also feature stand-up comic Brian Tracey as Muddles, Simon Howe as Dame Dolly Dumpling and Rosie Jenkins as Snow White.
It runs from December 8 to January 4 and includes matinees and several morning performances.
