HINDLIP sees grasstrack racing return to the big time on Sunday with probably the biggest meeting held in the area for many years.
To those who are new to the sport, it is similar to speedway but, in place of a shale track, it is performed, as the name suggests, on grass!
The tracks are usually flat and oval which encourages the spectacular side- ways sliding action of the motor cycles.
The Worcester club has attracted many of the country's top exponents in the solo and sidecar classes, which should ensure a day of close, fast and exciting racing.
With practice between 11am and 12 noon and the first race due to start at 1pm, it's an opportunity for all the family to enjoy a day of motor cycle action.
