MARTIN Hall's comeback season continued when he collected five points in the Strat-ford CC road race held on a hilly course around Kineton.
In the 65-mile race, the Cycle Stuff rider was in the first break on the second lap but was soon brought back by the bunch due to the stiff headwind.
Then, with 25 miles remaining, a group of 15 riders went clear and, although Hall missed it, he managed to get across and eventually finished 11th.
He finished the first fourth category rider giving him enough points for third category status.
The club staged its first Sunday club run with a group leaving Evesham for Badsey,Willersey, Mickleton, Welford and Bidford before going on to Hillers Farm for coffee. The return was via Radford and up over the Lenches covering 35 miles.
This will be a regular run starting at the Leisure Centre at 9.30am. All are welcome.
