THE league staged a special charity crib drive at Evesham Community Hospital Social Club to raise money for the League of Friends of Evesham Community Hospital in memory of Iris Davis.
Thanks to the generosity of her friends who played, and others who came to watch, a total of £216 was raised.
The league's committee would like to thank the Hospital Social Club - Terry, Toni and Jacci especially - for their hospitality.
An offer of a trophy from Iris's family has been accepted and this will be played for on an annual basis.
The event this year will be a Charity Crib Drive with proceeds donated to a nominated charity. The proposed date is February 9 next year.
