NATWEST staff in Worcester are supporting local and national charities by donating directly from their pay packet.
The High Street bank is also helping out by "double matching" any contribution employees make through the bank's Give As You Earn Scheme.
Charities have received more than £870 from local staff donations in the last financial year.
"Payroll giving is a highly effective way to donate to charity," said Jon Fox, regional managing director for NatWest.
"Money is taken straight from the employer, and the taxman adds an extra 10 per cent to each donation.
"NatWest's scheme also means that for every pound donated through the pay packet the bank will donate a further £2, so it really is a great way to donate money."
Staff can give to any organisation of their choice as long as it is of charitable status or an organisation, such as a school, hospital or youth organisation, which is eligible to receive tax efficient donations.
