MORE residents have voiced concerns over a waste transfer station in Rowney Green.
The Advertiser reported last month people living in Dagnell End Road and members of Abbey Park Residents Association were gearing up to fight plans for the station at Lower Park Farm.
They said their quality of life would deteriorate if it was given the go-ahead.
Other worries included the amount of traffic the station would generate on a rural road, that there were frequent car accidents and lorries driving up and down would worsen the situation and there would also be extra rubbish.
But Alvechurch Parish Council clerk Gill Lungley said: "People in Rowney Green and other very concerned residents don't want it either.
"They are worried about the amount of traffic it will generate and also because of the associated nuisances involved - such as possible smells and the possibility of vermin being attracted.
"And they also don't want to see this type of heavy and inappropriate industrial development here and in the middle of green belt land."
