REDDITCH'S newly refurbished Magistrates Court will be officially opened by HRH The Duke of Gloucester in the autumn.
The Duke will arrive at the Grove Street court at 1.40pm on September 16, where he will be greeted by bench chairman Gordon Reddish.
He will also meet members of the West Mercia Magistrates' Courts Service before formally opening the court at about 2.25pm.
The Advertiser reported in March the court had re-opened for business following a massive revamp.
It had closed for refurbishment about a year previously and cases were moved to Droitwich while the work was being carried out.
The facelift included extending and refurbishing the court to modern standards.
