THREE players from Kidder-minster saw off the cream of Worcestershire's women bowlers to bring back a top county title.
Pam Birch, Janette Adams and Vicki Evans, of Chainwire, basked in the sun on the two hottest days of the year to lift the Worcestershire Ladies Benevolent Triples competition held at the Chainwire and Gilt Edge clubs.
The Kidderminster trio started as outsiders but made an excellent start by beating Worcester in the first round.
They caused an upset in the next round when they beat Kidderminster rivals Gilt Edge and then went on to beat Broadway by a single shot in a nail-biting semi-final.
The final against Evesham was a nip-and-tuck affair throughout, but the Chainwire team came through by two shots on the final end.
