A Kidderminster angler, Mr Jennings, used a black gnat on the Stella to catch two trout to 3lb. The best flies on this lake proved to be viva and cats whisker.
Buzzers and orange or pink lures were the best flies on the Masters, but a Kinver angler used a black nymph and caught three trout with a bag weight of 12lb 8oz.
On the Wyre Dell, where viva and buzzers were the best flies, one angler caught 16 trout to 4lb with a montana.
A pellett accounted for 12 trout to 1lb for one angler on the Andy Capp, where the best flies were viva and montana.
On the coarse scene, live baits were used on the Erics to catch two catfish of 34lb and 32lb, while pellets caught a 22lb catfish and eight carp on the Gainsborough.
The Stuarts is fishing well, with competition weights of 40lb plus.
