On July 1 Wayne Griffin M0BRU gave a talk on radio direction-finding techniques and put on a display of home-constructed DF antennas.
The June meeting was an outdoor activity night and barbecue, when Graeme Coultas G0TNU set up a portable short wave transmitter and receiver and contacted amateur stations in Europe.
Wyre Forest Packet Radio Support Group's latest meeting included a discussion on recent advances in internet-linking of amateur radio signals. The group has a website at www.pzt.org.uk
The next meeting at 8pm on Tuesday, at the Chainwire Club, Zortech Avenue, Kidderminster, will feature a talk and demonstration on Crossed Field Loop Antennas by Roger Jarvis, G4OBA.
Visitors will be welcome and the Society is offering one year's free membership.
