On July 7 rules for the cookery and produce show were discussed.
The evening's speaker was Jacki Clark who talked about her voluntary work in the world of pantomime. She has been involved with the pantomime produced and performed at Stourport Civic Hall, for more than 20 years, having first become involved when asked to make a costume for her husband for the character he was to play.
Since then she has been mainly responsible for costumes, having designed and made many over the years, mostly using the cheapest and most unlikely materials. She displayed some of the costumes she had made and photographs of them in use.
The competition for a theatre programme was won by Lesley Grant.
On July 9, the group met for a garden coffee morning at Pat Farr's home. The next meeting will be on Monday and this will be an outdoor event at Green Acres, Chaddesley Corbett, at 7.30pm.
