MORE than 60 shooters took aim on Saturday in an annual fund-raising event for Kemp Hospice.
Kidderminster Gun Club, which organised the clay pigeon shoot at Blackstone Rock, will hand over about £1,100 to the charity.
Club secretary and treasurer Rick Willetts said the event - first held last summer - was now established and should grow in the future.
"We raised about £300 more than last year and we had 12 more entries.
"We were hoping for more but it was the beginning of the holiday period and kids were off school.
"I think next year we'll probably do it earlier. I think if we can just time it better we can get a really good turn-out."
The 62 shooters who did battle in the windy conditions included under-18 winner Josef Skura and ladies champion Sue Cooke.
Mr Willetts said eight club members paid their entry fee to help out for up to 13 hours.
"The day was enjoyed by all those who took part," he added.
