A CAR crash left a major road shut for two hours with a pensioner needing to be cut out of the vehicle.
The accident, involving a blue Rover 218 and red Volkswagen Golf, happened on the A442 Bridgnorth Road at Honeybrook Stud at 5.15pm on Tuesday.
Three fire engines were called to the scene, from Kidderminster and Stourport, and used cutting equipment to free a 77-year-old woman in the rear of the Golf.
She suffered a broken wrist and possible internal injuries.
The driver of the Rover did not require medical attention but the three people in the other car were taken by ambulance to Royal Worcester Infirmary, with the front seat passenger and driver suffering minor shock and bruising.
PC Nick Ferguson, divisional traffic unit investigating officer, said they needed help in establishing exactly how the accident occurred.
"People often think what they have seen is immaterial but all information, no matter how small can be useful in painting a picture of what happened."
Anyone with information relating to the collision should contact PC Ferguson on 08457 444888.
