POLICE are poised to confiscate motorbikes from youngsters riding on private farmland in Wolverley following a complaints from residents.
Kidderminster Police will be patrolling Courts Farm and warning people on motorbikes that if they are caught again they will have their bikes confiscated.
The move follows complaints from residents in Wolverley, Cookley and Kidderminster and a police spokesman said they would expand their operations to cover the whole of the district if complaints continued.
Wolverley and Cookley beat manager PC Richard Drewitt said Courts Farm was private land with no direct access, adding: "The motorcyclists are going into what the locals call the gravel pits, which are mounds of earth ideal for moto-cross.
"Not only do the bikes cause a nuisance for other people, it can also result in causing criminal damage."
