BOYBAND wannabes are needed by a Stourport man hoping to set up a money-spinning tribute to teenage heart-throbs Busted.

Twenty-year-old Wez Thompson, of Meadow View, Stourport, said he has been told he looks like Mattie Jay from Busted so many times he thought he might as well make some money out of it and set up a tribute band.

He is now looking for people who look like the other two band members, Charlie Simpson and James Bourne.

The former Worcester University student, who does promotional work for Wyvern FM, said potential band-mates needed to have similar facial features and be the same height as the two popstars.

"I'm just looking for two people who look like the guys, have got a little bit of talent and a lot of energy and are prepared to make a fool of themselves," he said.

"It's just basically because I've been told so many times I look like him."

He added most of the people who commented on his resemblance to Mattie were school children he met working on the radio station.

"I must have met about 4,000 kids in the last four weeks and they have all said I should be in Busted," he said.
