A MAN was found dead three days before Christmas after injecting himself with heroin.
An inquest into the death of Glynn Evans of The Slad, Stourport-on-Severn, revealed how his family had on Sunday, December 22, last year, forced the bathroom door from the outside to find the 20-year-old lying dead on the floor with an empty syringe in his hand.
Worcestershire Coroner, Victor Round, who read from a statement by Mr Evans's half-brother, Beau Broadhurst, explained to the court that the family had been alerted when Mr Evans, a known drug user, had gone upstairs in the early hours of the morning without saying anything and had not come back down.
Mr Round recorded a verdict of death from a non-dependent use of drugs during the hearing at Stourport-on-Severn.
