ROBBIE Williams' fans will definitely not be "caught short" after a Hereford business provided more than 400 miles of toilet roll for the pop star's extravaganza at Knebworth Park this weekend.

Mark Williams, the owner of the Rotherwas-based firm Clearview Industrial Supplies, has come to the rescue of his namesake by providing 25,200 toilet rolls for the sell-out shows.

The entertainer may have failed to crack the States but his hat-trick of concerts will see a record-breaking 375,000 fans at the world-famous venue.

Still feeling a little flushed from the stress and strains of handling such a large order, Mark Williams is confident his firm has sent sufficient cover.

Stunning

"We have loaded up more than 700 cases of toilet paper, which if you rolled out, would run for about 400 miles.

"If that is not enough I don't know what is," he explained.

"We also provided the toilet rolls for Glastonbury, so we are getting used to sending out these big orders for the musical events," he added.

Attendance for his namesake's concerts this weekend will put in the shade the previous record set at Knebworth of 225,000 fans for two concerts by Oasis in 1996.

The stunning venue, a natural grass bowl set in parkland in the Hertfordshire Green Belt, near Stevenage, was also the setting for last ever gigs by legendary rockers Led Zeppelin, fronted by Robert Plant, of Shatterford, near Kidderminster, and Queen.
