OUT AND ABOUT: The official handing-over of Broom WI Hall to the village took place on Wednesday, July 23. The keys were handed over by the president, Helen Powell, in the presence of WI members and members of the sterling committee.

A reunion of Bidford High School pupils who left in 1980 is planned for November several pupils are still to be traced so anyone who can give information would be greatly welcome.

A surprise party was held at Westholme Court on Friday, July 25, for Richard Willoughby the lately retired milkman. Richard who had been local milkman for 29 years was presented with a cheque for £725 and a framed poem specially written for the occasion, lots of people came to say happy retirement to a very popular figure.
