BROADWAY First School celebrated the end of their school term with the completion of a new garden area created to celebrate the Golden Jubilee.
Pupils at the school created their own designs for the garden, which were translated into the final design by a new local garden design company, Fernico.
Much of the work was carried out by staff, governors, parents and friends under the supervision of Cindy Thomas from Fernico.
Headteacher Mike Appleby said the garden was mainly purple and gold, thought to be suitably regal, and there was a friendship bench for pupils to use.
The project was paid for by the friends of the school as part of plans to improve the school environment for pupils.
7 In the Jubilee Garden with designer Cindy Thomas are 5-year-olds Martha Farnworth and Molly Stock.
