VALE youngsters have no excuse for being bored this summer with a packed programme of holiday activities organised by Wychavon District Council.
The first event of the summer season was a day of mask making on Pershore's Abbey Park yesterday.
Wychavon's arts development officer Louise Fenton said the children all had a great time.
"Most of them wanted to stay and make another mask, it went really well."
Youngsters will have more opportunity for fun with puppet shows on Evesham Abbey Park on August 11 and in Pershore's park on August 14.
"These events are all free so parents can just turn up on the day with their children," said Louise.
