PLANS for Malvern Hills District Council to move to a single site at the Picker-sleigh Road depot could be scrapped.
The council is making a major review of all its property across the district, valued at £12.5 million.
It costs £636,000 a year to maintain the sites and the council says it's concerned that the burden is affecting its service delivery.
Council leader Tom Wells, who chairs the property review working party, said: "I personally have always been opposed to the single site. I think it would be a waste of money and would produce another period of change. I would sooner invest in community facilities."
The working party is expected to begin reporting to the council's executive committee in the autumn with a decision expected next year and the portfolio to be settled within five.
"People in Malvern can expect us to release any assets that aren't essential to delivering services," added Coun Wells.
"The Treasurer's Site could be released for some community gain or we can release the assets on that and spend the money on services.
"Likewise we're looking at the depot site.
"We've already allocated two acres with two-and-a half acres left.
Two properties in Priory Road may also be sold as a resylt of the review.
