FOLK dancers from Malvern and beyond gathered at Hanley Castle for a day of dance in memory of a friend.
Diana Hannah died in August last year after what friends called a "cheerful struggle against cancer."
Diana was a founding member of the Appleyard Ladies Traditional Dancers, who hosted Saturday's event outside The Three Kings pub to celebrate her life.
They were joined by other folk-dancing teams, including Whitty Pear, Wimbury Clog and England's Glory, in their distinctive and colourful outfits.
Diana's husband, Richard Hannah, led the Kempsey Morris Man for the day.
Vital Spark, the Malvern West Gallery choir, for which Diana sang, were also there and sang beneath the Lebanon cedar tree.
Vital Spark's Noel Trigg said: "This was a day that Diana would have relished.
"It was fun, full of music, dance and song."
