FUNDRAISING for a new children's hospice will be going at a gallop in Hanley Swan.
Harness racers from across the country will be trotting out to support the Acorns Three Counties Appeal on Sunday.
Some of the country's top competitors will be among the 100 entries in the third Three Counties Race.
Event organisers Dave and Kath Shellam, of Callow End, hope more than 1,000 spectators will turn out to see the 10 to 12 qualifying races and final.
There will also be a children's race, food stalls, bookmakers, a bar and bouncy castle.
The first race is at 1pm and the event finishes around 7pm. Tickets are £5, including race card, children free. No dogs are allowed and the event is signposted off the B4209.
