LACK of demand has forced Wychavon District Council to axe the rural outreach one-stop-shop services leaving just the Broadway shop in operation.
The council had held monthly sessions in Hartlebury and Ombersley village halls offering advice and information.
The council had hoped it would save people living in more rural areas from travelling into the town centres.
Democratic Service Manager Amanda de Warr said: "We discovered residents are happy to travel to the towns to use the shops there.
"Initially we wanted to see if rural residents would benefit from this scheme but it was underused."
The service operates from Broadway library on Wednesday mornings.
