AUDIENCES will be able to see three of Shakespeare's most diverse plays in Stratford for £10 each during one week in August.
There will be 200 of the best tickets in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre available during the RSC's Festival Proms Week from August 25 to August 30 for The Taming of the Shrew, Measure for Measure and Richard III.
Tickets, which will be limited to two per person, will be available only to those booking in person from 9am on the day of each performance at the RST box office.
Demand for tickets is expected to be high as people have been known to start queuing from the early hours in previous proms weeks.
RSC artistic director Michael Boyd said: "We're all very excited about welcoming people from throughout the UK to the Festival Proms Week.
"It's the first time since I became artistic director that we have run a proms week and I'm hoping to join in the fun by mingling with the morning queues."
Reduced priced tickets will be available for The Taming of the Shrew at 7.30pm on the Monday, Richard III at 7.30pm on the Tuesday and Wednesday and at 1.30pm and 7.30pm on the Thursday, and Measure for Measure at 7.30pm on the Friday and 1.30pm on the Saturday.
